Following the popularity of the James Dyson Foundation partnership announcement, we unexpectedly sold out of the free funded badges in less than a day. We are pleased to announce we have kindly been allocated some more funding from the James Dyson Foundation to provide more badges. To try and ensure as many of our young members can benefit from this as possible, the next 2000 badges will cost 50p per badge rather than the usual £1.
Girlguiding South West England has partnered with The James Dyson Foundation, Dyson’s charitable arm, to promote their exciting resource focusing on science and engineering.
There are a series of challenges designed for children to try at home or in the classroom. We are excited to give Girlguiding members the opportunity to try these challenges themselves in unit meetings, to learn something new and realise all girls can do anything.
The activities can be found and downloaded directly on the James Dyson Foundation website - jamesdysonfoundation.co.uk/resources/other-engineering-resources/challenge-cards
